Sundstrom Pit Pumping LLC was started on July 12, 1994 when brothers Ernie, Willie, and Jordan Sundstrom bought four old manure trucks with 3,000 gallon tanks. Thinking this would last them through their careers they were wrong, and have continually grown in their 20 years in business.
By 1996, the company had bought more trucks along with dump trucks. In 1999 they began dragging hose applying the manure directly into the soil and in 2001 started using Semi’s and Frac Tanks. They sold out of their trucks but again bought trucks back in 2003. The next year they started dredging to remove solids from lagoons.
The company continued to grow and in 2006 the company added Septic Pumping and Portable Toilet rentals. In 2010 they began building agitation boats, using automated pump controls, and using solid spreaders. In 2011 they bought 8 inch hose, doubling their pumping production. In the spring of 2013 the company began municipal services and started Sundstrom Bros. Custom Fabrication.
From a company that began with the three brothers and the “hired man”, they now have 50 plus employees. Pumping over 200 million gallons a year and servicing surrounding counties with their septic service.
